Privacy policy

Short version: the tools on OneClick Toolbox run inside your browser. The images, screenshots and other files you work with are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not ask for an account and we do not sell personal data.

1. Your files never leave your device

Every tool (timer, background remover, screen capture and future tools) performs its work locally using browser technologies such as Canvas, WebAssembly and WebGPU. The background remover downloads a small AI model to your browser; your photo is not sent anywhere. We have no technical ability to see, store or recover your files.

2. What we do collect

• Anonymous usage statistics (only if you accept cookies): page views, which tool was used, whether a download button was clicked, approximate country, device type and browser. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode.
• Campaign attribution (only after consent): if you arrive through a link with UTM parameters or a Google Ads click identifier (gclid), we store those values in your browser (first-party storage, 90 days) so we can measure which campaigns work. Before consent they are kept in memory for the current visit only.
• Local preferences: timer presets, theme choice and your cookie decision are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are strictly necessary for the site to remember your choices and are never transmitted to us.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operations.

3. Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Where consent for ad cookies is not given, Google serves non-personalised ads only. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

4. Cookies and consent

Non-essential cookies are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Reject is offered with equal prominence. You can change your decision at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Details are in the cookie policy.

5. Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)

Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), ePrivacy). Security logs and strictly necessary storage: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)). You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

6. Your rights

Because we hold no account data and no files, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete. For analytics data processed by Google on our behalf, you can request information or erasure by contacting us at hello@oneclicktoolbox.com. EU/UK residents may also complain to their local supervisory authority.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
