About

About OneClick Toolbox

OneClick Toolbox started with a simple irritation: needing a timer for a seminar, a transparent PNG for a slide, or a quick screenshot, and finding only sites that wanted an upload, an account, or both. These tools do one job each, right in the browser, and then get out of the way.

Principles

  • Local first. Files are processed on your device with Canvas, WebAssembly and WebGPU.
  • One tool, one page. No dashboards to learn. The tool sits at the top of the page.
  • Honest about limits. If a browser cannot do something (such as capturing a whole scrolling page), we say so instead of pretending.
  • Free, funded by unobtrusive ads. Ads never cover a tool. Paid extras may follow later for heavy features.

Who makes this

The site is run by a university educator in media production as an independent side project. The “Researcher & Teacher shelf” collects the tools we reach for in lecture halls and while writing papers.
